Job Description:
We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Junior High Teacher to join our team at a Catholic school in Livonia, MI. The ideal candidate will have experience teaching junior high students and a strong understanding of Catholic teachings and values.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement lesson plans that align with the school's curriculum and Catholic teachings
- Provide instruction in various subjects, including but not limited to math, science, language arts, and social studies
- Assess student progress and provide feedback to students and parents
- Create a positive and inclusive classroom environment that promotes academic and spiritual growth
- Collaborate with colleagues to plan and coordinate school-wide events and activities
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Education or related field
- Valid teaching certification
- Experience teaching junior high students
- Strong knowledge of Catholic teachings and values
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
