JE Cosgriff Memorial Catholic School is seeking a creative and enthusiastic Part-Time Elementary Art Teacher for the 2024-2025 school year. This "art-on-a-cart" position involves bringing engaging art lessons to classrooms across multiple grade levels.
Qualifications:
-Bachelor's degree in Art Education or related field (preferred)
-Teaching experience with elementary-aged students
-Strong classroom management and organizational skills
-Ability to foster creativity and artistic expression in young learners
Responsibilities:
-Plan and deliver art lessons to elementary classes using a mobile "art-on-a-cart" system
-Encourage creativity while teaching art techniques and concepts
-Collaborate with teachers to integrate art into the broader curriculum
-Maintain and organize art materials and supplies
-Participate in school events and showcase student artwork
