Theology Teacher - Bishop McLaughlin Catholic High School
Bishop McLaughlin Catholic High School, located in Pasco County FL, is seeking an experienced, full-time Theology teacher for the 2025-2026 school year. Qualified candidates must have a thorough knowledge of Roman Catholic Church teachings; respect for the Catholic vision on important social, moral, and ethical issues; and be acquainted with and capable of articulating the theological and pastoral vision of the Second Vatican Council. High school theology teaching experience and familiarity with the USCCB’s curriculum framework is preferred.
Professional Qualifications
Applicants must be a practicing Catholic committed to the ministry, philosophy, and goals of Catholic education, have a Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in theology or related field from a Catholic college or university.
Proficiency with classroom technology integration using Chromebooks, youth ministry experience, diocesan catechist certification, the ability to teach in another subject area, and a valid Florida Department of Education Professional Certificate would be an asset.
