The Assistant Librarian is responsible for five primary areas, with several sub-skillsets. The five areas are: Cataloging and Classification, Interlibrary Loans, Serials Management, assisting the Executive Library Manager/Special Collections and Exhibits Curator, and Library Volunteer Services. We are looking for the following qualifications-
• Experience with Library of Congress Classification System, LC Subject Heading and Genre/Form terms, OCLC bibliographic utility
• Familiarity with OCLC WorldShare Management Services preferred
• Strong interpersonal, organizational, and communication skills
• Ability to perform diverse library tasks and work independently
• Problem-solving skills and teamwork experience
• Familiar with Windows and Microsoft Office
• Commitment to staying updated on library resources and industry trends
