St. Francis School is a growing PK-3 to Grade 6 school located in the pastoral community of Litchfield, New Hampshire. Contributing to our Franciscan spirit is a 15-acre campus complete with hiking trails, an outdoor classroom, and a small farm. Responsibilities
• Develop and implement engaging lesson plans.
• Manage classroom behavior and foster a positive learning environment.
• Assess and evaluate student progress in literacy and math, providing individualized support as needed.
• Communicate effectively with students, parents, and staff regarding academic performance and social development.
• Participate in professional development and collaborate with colleagues to improve educational practices.
Qualifications
• Bachelor's degree (if candidate is not licensed, but the right fit, we will help them to obtain certification)
• Strong classroom management and communication skills are a must
• Ability to develop and implement engaging lesson plans
• Knowledge of special education practices and early childhood development
