MARKETING AND ENROLLMENT COORDINATOR

JOB DESCRIPTION AND OBJECTIVES

The Marketing and Enrollment Coordinator is responsible for managing the Catholic brand of Our Lady of Bethlehem School and Childcare (OLB) through year-round recruitment, enrollment, and retention. This position is charged with maintaining and growing our brand through marketing and building the customer relationship from prospective family through alumni relations. OLB’s presence and standing in the community is strong, spans nearly 70 years, and boasts the only Catholic infant and toddler program in central Ohio. Our programmatic model of infant through kindergarten during the school year and infant through 8th grade in the summer months fills a unique niche in the Diocese of Columbus. This position reports directly to the principal.

MAJOR AREAS OF RESPONSIBILITY:

Collaborate with the Principal and leadership team to architect and execute a marketing and communications plan
Manage and create content for OLB’s social media platforms (Facebook, X, Instagram, LinkedIn and Google)
Maintain and operate OLB’s website
Conduct tours and campus visits and address inquiries from prospective parents
Guide the enrollment and registration process, including maintaining the database that serves the Enrollment Management Team
Represent OLB at various recruitment fairs and events

Manage and build OLB’s marketing materials and brand collateral such as, but not limited to:

o Street level and pop-up banners

o Flyers and brochures

o Apparel and give-a-ways

o Radio advertisements

o Newspaper submissions

o Ads and graphics

Collaborate with the Principal and leadership team to plan and execute marketing and community events such as:

o Meet Your Teacher Day

o Parent Orientation

o Christmas program

o Open houses and other recruitment events

o Catholic Schools Week

o May Crowning

o Promotion and graduation ceremonies

o Fundraisers and community events such as Restaurant of the Month

o Service projects

o Research local Catholic school and childcare programs and collect data to inform marketing and programmatic decision-making

o Track and maintain data such as student personally identifiable release, test scores, proprietary information and intellectual property.

o Build and maintain a relationship with local Catholic parishes, schools, and organizations to

promote OLB and the matriculation of OLB graduates to Bishop Watterson feeder schools

Maintain a working relationship and negotiate products and services with outside vendors such as, but not limited to:

o Technology support – website and network

o Large upscale printing

o Banner and street printing

o Apparel and promotional companies

o Event planners

o Media outlets such as TV, radio and newspaper

o Serve on OLB’s leadership team

SKILLS AND COMPETENCIES

The Marketing and Enrollment Coordinator must have the following skills and competencies:

QUALIFICATIONS AND REQUIREMENTS

2-3 years of not for profit marketing experience
Associate or bachelor’s degree in marketing or related field
Proficiency in emerging technologies, especially social media
Catholic
Must complete FBI and BCI background checks
Must complete diocesan-directed “Protecting God’s Children” class
Pay is negotiable and commensurate with education and experience
