Brief Job Description: The Parish and Cemetery Maintenance Employee is responsible for the regular maintenance and care of buildings, properties, and cemeteries of ONE Catholic, with a special focus on the west side of our Family of Parishes, as well as ensuring the proper burial or entombment of those laid to rest at ONE Catholic Cemeteries.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities:
• Assures building and property security and maintenance at parishes and cemeteries.
• Ensures that all ONE Catholic buildings and properties are maintained in excellent condition and appearance at all times, including lawn care of parish and cemetery grounds, snow removal, garbage removal, cleaning indoor and outdoor spaces and equipment, fixing malfunctioning or broken items.

Qualifications: Required Education/Experience:
• High School Diploma or further education
• Three years minimum experience

Desired Skills:
• Possesses a valid NYS Driver’s License
• Ability to utilize lawn maintenance snow plowing, and excavating equipment.
• Reliably present and punctual in coming to work and completing tasks.
• Ability to exercise confidentiality and discretion in all parish business and pastoral matters.
• Possesses appropriate health, safety and equipment certifications as needed, or has the ability to obtain them within a scheduled period of time.
• Ability to carry, lift and/or move heavy loads up to 50 pounds.

Salary: $17-$18 per hour

Hours: 7am -3:30pm
