The ideal candidate will:

Teach Boys Physical Education for grades PK3-Grade 8, Health classes. Coordinate all Middle School Games and Practices as an Athletic Director. This teacher is responsible to plan, organize, and implement a challenging, engaging, and relevant curriculum in accordance with school and diocesan guidelines. This teacher must also follow all duties and responsibilities as outlined by the mission, vision, and values of the school and Diocese of Palm Beach County.

Certification Qualifications:

Required Bachelor's Degree in Physical Education/ Health
Minimum Teaching Experience 5+ years
Florida Department of Education Certificate Required in Physical Education

Curriculum Qualifications:

Implement an age-appropriate level education program that meets the regulations set forth by St. Vincent Ferrer and the diocese
Establish a classroom environment favorable to learning and personal growth
Establish effective rapport with the students and motivate students to develop skills
Plan and teach students in areas that address the broad categories of health and physical education
Develop and implement a variety of learning experiences to enable students to demonstrate learned skills and concepts
Ensure the safety of students in physical education activities by providing a comprehensive program in safety instruction, injury prevention, and physical conditioning prior to the activity.
Organize and teach indoor and outdoor activities that promote physical activity
