St. Mary’s Catholic Church is looking for an exemplary candidate to serve as full-time Director of Religious Education and Youth Minister in Tomahawk, WI.
The Director of Religious Education must:
- Be living in full sacramental communion with the Catholic Church
- Hold a degree in theology, youth ministry, catechetics or a related field OR have experience in youth ministry and religious education
- Be working towards or possess elevated level catechetical certification from the Diocese of Superior
- Be competent in visioning, applying age-appropriate methods and basic program development
- Exhibit skills in interpersonal communication and relationship building
- Lead and develop religious education programs that align with the church's mission and values
- Communicate effectively with families and children to foster a supportive learning environment
- Organize events and activities that promote community engagement and spiritual growth
- The Director of Religious Education will mentor volunteers, ensuring effective teaching methods are utilized
- Collaborate with church leadership to enhance program development and outreach initiatives
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $40,000.00 - $45,000.00 per year
