Human Resources Generalist/Admin. Asst. Position Description:
Provides skilled comprehensive office management services for the Chancellor for Personnel and Administration, assists with employee benefit programs and administration, and monitors compliance with the Diocesan Safe Environment program. Would assist with hiring processes, monthly benefit reporting, and a welcoming atmosphere for all inquiries into the office. Also as a backup, be able to reconcile insurance billings as well as audit database files for accuracy.
This is a full-time nonexempt position.
Qualifications:
College or business school coursework; degree preferred. Training or equivalent experience in employee benefits administration principles. Training or equivalent experience in computer software applications; Microsoft Office including MS Access preferred. Minimum of two years of comprehensive administrative experience. In depth knowledge of office management, benefit processing, human resources and basic accounting procedures. Participating and in good standing with the Catholic Church.
