St. Ambrose parish is seeking a dynamic and creative Catholic, who is skilled in coordinating parish faith formation programs for all ages: Religious Education and Sacramental Preparation for 100+ children (k-12), Rite of Christian Initiation for Adults and Teens (RCIA/RCIC), Adult Faith Formation classes and catechist formation. Candidate will also be responsible for the coordination of all high school and middle school programs during the school year and a 7 week summer camp program. Applicant must be a practicing Catholic.
Candidates need to be well organized, have good communication skills, ability to multi-task, detail oriented, and be able to collaborate with parish staff and supervise volunteers. Candidates need proficiency with microsoft word, social media, and technology. Candidates need a working knowledge of Catholic catechism and parish life. Experience with summer camps and/or parish administration and ministry is a great plus. Detailed position description is available on request.
