Job Details:
The Environmental Service Aide's primary responsibility is to maintain a clean environment for all patients, visitors and staff.
Responsibilities of the Environmental Service Aide include:
- Routine cleaning of all patient rooms, misc. areas, offices, public areas and public restrooms, all hallways, elevators and staircases and waste removal.
- The employee puts an emphasis on Infection Control procedures and Customer Service.
- The employee also performs such other related duties as may be assigned or required with emphasis on hand hygiene and patient confidentiality.
Requirements for the Environmental Service Aide include:
- High School Diploma, GED or work experience required
- Must be able to speak and understand English.
- 1 year of EVS experience in a healthcare setting preferred
