Job Description:
A daycare teacher is responsible for providing a safe and nurturing environment for children in a daycare setting. The teacher will plan and implement age-appropriate activities, supervise children during playtime, and ensure that all children are properly fed and cared for. The teacher will also communicate with parents about their child's progress and any concerns that may arise.
- Plan and implement age-appropriate activities for children
- Supervise children during playtime and ensure their safety
- Provide meals and snacks to children as needed
- Communicate with parents about their child's progress and any concerns
- Maintain a clean and organized classroom
- Attend staff meetings and training sessions as required
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Experience working with children in a daycare or similar setting
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work well in a team environment
- Ability to pass a background check
