Job Details:
Job Summary: Assure appropriate data abstraction and timely submission to the required national and regulatory databases.
Job Responsibilities:

Supports accurate data abstraction and chart review as needed within established timeframe (e.g. for submission deadlines).

Serves as a resource to IT, Data and PI staff to help clarify data abstraction/analysis issues.

Participates in the development and implementation of corrective action plans when opportunities for improvement are identified.

Participates in development and documentation of efficient methods/processes of data abstraction and coordination related to reports

Develops and prepares reports as requested.

Refers clinical and registry issues to the appropriate individuals and departments for review and action.

Displays effective verbal and written communication skills.

Fosters a spirit of team work and utilizes conflict management skills effectively.

Utilizes existing and develops standard reports and processes for regular review and reporting of abstracted aggregated data to relevant hospital or medical staff committees.

Participates in continual learning of abstract/data entry issues and various monitoring activities, creating revision as needed in monitoring processes, procedures and guides as appropriate to their role.

Performs appropriate targeted concurrent review to improve accuracy and compliance if indicated.

Performs other duties, as assigned relevant to support the orthopedic registry and orthopedic service line development or other departments as appropriately requested
Posted Salary Range: USD $53.77 - USD $77.50 /Hr. :
This range serves as a good faith estimate and actual pay will encompass a number of factors, including a candidate’s qualifications, skills, competencies and experience. The salary range or rate listed does not include any bonuses/incentive, differential pay or other forms of compensation that may be applicable to this job and it does not include the value of benefits.
