The NICD provides leadership and implements appropriate strategies that advance CCH’s mission by strengthening CCH’s engagement with the community. Creates a network of support within the island’s community. Develops and cultivates positive work relationships with business, parishes, appropriate state/county agencies, local community groups, funding sources and other stake holders. Identifies community needs in accordance with CCH mission and strategic plan; works cooperatively with CCH administrative and program management staff to further CCH’s mission and advocacy efforts and serves as liaison with the staff in agency-wide strategic initiatives. The Neighbor Island Community Director must demonstrate an active commitment to CCH’s mission and strive to incorporate the core values in all aspects of daily work.
EDUCATIONAL & WORK REQUIREMENTS: Bachelor’s in Social Work, Business or related field. Work experiences considered equivalent to the educational requirement may be substituted plus four (4) years’ experience in human services, including at least (1) one year supervisory/management/program development experience.
EMPLOYMENT CLEARANCE REQUIREMENTS: HI State Criminal Check, Driver’s License, Access to Vehicle with Current Valid Registration, Safety Check, and No-Fault Insurance, Education Verification
COMPENSATION: $65,990.87 - $75,519.55
