Based in Chicago, the Chief Financial Officer (CFO) will join the senior administrative team at the Archdiocesan Pastoral Center. As the Archdiocese’s senior financial officer and a member of the executive management team, the CFO will partner as a trusted confidant and business strategist with the senior operating team. The role will report directly to Betsy Bohlen, the Chief Operating Officer of the Archdiocese of Chicago.
The ideal candidate will establish, implement, and maintain the financial strategy, plans and policies of the Archdiocese, including overall financial stability, fiscal controls, preparation and interpretation of financial reports, and the safeguarding of the Archdiocese’s assets. Leveraging a deep knowledge of and experience in finance, he or she will drive long-range planning, and advise management on all financial affairs.
