Administrative Assistant –
Principal Responsibilities
- Serves as Administrative Assistant for multiple offices
- Develops and maintains complex filing systems, both paper and electronic.
- Maintains databases and e-mail distribution lists.
- Maintains and preserves confidential records, communications and information.
- Plans and organizes monthly program gatherings and occasional special events onsite and offsite.
- Performs bookkeeping and budgeting functions.
- Orders office supplies and other necessary resources.
- Screens and prioritizes phone calls or provides direct assistance to individuals within scope of authority and responsibility of the position.
- General office duties and assistance as assigned.
We are looking for a candidate meeting the following qualifications:
- Individual with knowledge and experience with the Catholic faith preferred
- Administrative Assistant experience required
- Demonstrated ability to work with highly confidential and sensitive information
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to prioritize work in a busy office environment
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite.
- Ability to make basic updates to website
- Ability to work independently
Office Hours: Monday - Friday 8am - 4:30 pm; with occasional evening/weekend responsibilities
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $19.00 - $25.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 per week
