Title: Development Database Specialist
Reports to: Director of Development

Overview
The Donor Database Specialist plays a critical role in the implementation, execution, and success of the Development team. This position records, tracks, reports, and acknowledges donations and collaborates with the Executive Leadership Team, Finance staff, and administrative staff to plan, track, report, and share Development's measures of success.
Job Responsibilities
- All activities related to deposits from all CCDOV locations – updating/creating donor accounts, data entry, mail merge and reports
- Processing credit card and recurring gifts
- Donations from RENXT, WeShare, and One Cause
- Monitor OneCause for direct event payment activity
- Access various websites to obtain donor information – i.e. Benevity, REN/Renaissance Charitable Foundation, The Blackbaud Giving Fund, Frontstream, CARS; Monitor Credit Card/Online Transaction Reports, and others as needed
- Provide mailing lists as needed – GSS monthly, events, and mailings
- Manage deceased, email and phone finder
- Donor contact as needed related to processing gifts
- Maintain committee/board lists – including but not limited to CCDOV Board, CCF Board, Event committees, Advisory Boards
- Wealth screening
- Create online giving donation forms in RNXT, embed/QR codes for use on websites and mailings
- Prepare progress reports on initiatives
- Working with Development team to regularly review and update thank you letters as needed
- Adding new users to the Raiser's Edge App
- Support Development activities as needed.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree OR equivalent experience with certification/accreditation/training in database management, Raiser's Edge, or other donor tracking software, and data base management experience will be considered.
- Ability to manage multiple assignments and tasks with attention to timelines and prioritization
- Ability to develop, implement and utilize systems to capture meaningful data in support of the organization's strategic planning process
- Demonstrate effective oral and written communication skills
- Demonstrate computer skills as relevant to required tasks
- Ability to effectively present educational material to large and small groups
- Ability to forge mutually respectful partnerships with supervisor, co-workers, clients and other stakeholders
- Ability to work within the framework of the Catholic Church's moral teachings with knowledge of, and an ability to impart to others the essence of Catholic social teachings
- Must pass a Level II FDLE/FBI background screening with satisfactory results
