Incarnate Word Academy, located at 6620 Pearl Road in Parma Heights, is a Premier Independent Catholic School serving a diverse group of young learners from Preschool to 8th grade. Our school calendar includes end of the quarter teacher work days, and a beginning and mid-year faculty retreat. We have 2 homerooms per grade level in K-8, with class sizes intentionally kept small to accommodate the learning needs of all students.
We are seeking candidates for a science teacher in our preparatory level, teaching students in grades 6-8 for the 2025-26 school year. Candidates should demonstrate: *ability to work in fast-paced environment *high level of organization *strong command of integrated science (Life, Earth, Physical Science) *safe oversight of student lab in addition to classroom *facilitator of science fair Candidates should conduct themselves in a manner that is compatible with and supportive of the teachings and mission of the Sisters of the Incarnate Word, the Diocese of Cleveland, and the Roman Catholic Church.
