DIOCESE OF TOLEDO - Rosary Cathedral School is a small CCMT Catholic school in Toledo, OH. Rooted in the faith traditions of the Catholic Church, Central City Ministry of Toledo (CCMT) educates children by adhering to the core values of faith, morality and personal responsibility.
We are looking for an enthusiastic and dedicated Kindergarten Teacher to join our primary grades team. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing lesson plans, teaching content, and assessing student performance. The ideal candidate will have a passion for teaching and a strong commitment to helping students reach their full potential. The candidate will also be expected to collaborate with other teachers and staff members.
Responsibilities:
- Develop lesson plans and instructional materials that meet the needs of all students.
- Provide instruction in assigned subjects.
- Assess student performance and progress to ensure that learning objectives are being met.
- Create a positive learning environment for students.
- Maintain accurate records of student progress and attendance.
- Communicate with parents and guardians regarding student progress and behavior.
Qualifications & Preferred Experiences
- Classroom management skills
- Experience in lesson planning
- Strong communication skills
- Literacy education background
- Ability to work effectively with students of diverse backgrounds
- Previous experience in childcare or teaching
- Familiarity with learning technology
- Ability to adapt teaching methods for different learning styles
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $30,000.00 - $35,000.00 per year
