JOB SUMMARY: The Director of Revenue Enhancement is responsible for leading the strategic planning, development, and execution of all revenue-generating activities for the Department. This role focuses on maximizing and diversifying the department’s revenue streams, including grants and other innovative funding opportunities. The Director of Revenue Enhancement will collaborate closely with the Executive Director and the key leadership team to ensure financial stability and growth.
Supervisory Responsibility: Provides administrative supervision of 1 FTE and functional supervision of 2 FTEs.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES and RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Monitor and analyze the performance of various revenue streams, adjusting strategies as needed to optimize outcomes. Ensure all revenue-generating activities comply with relevant laws and regulations, and assess risks involved in new revenue strategies.
- Collaborate with the Executive Director and key leadership to set annual revenue targets and budgets.
- Project revenue needed to successfully run the Behavior Health, Legal Network and Financial Stability Network programs in the Adult and Children’s Clinical Services (ACCS) department.
- Work with Business Data Analyst to project and track revenue and expenses in Healthcare Services.
- Ensure fiscal accountability in department programs by reviewing financial statements, supporting the development of funding plans that identify private/public funding to achieve program goals and supporting grant/contract development to fully fund program initiatives.
Support the programs and mission of the department through detailed knowledge of administrative services, contract services and management of expenditures for the entire department.
- Support individual Program Directors with the maintenance and expansion of services provided in their specific areas including the funding sources to sustain the services.
Provide required reports to the Executive Director of ACCS on program accomplishments, challenges, budgetary analysis, quality enhancement initiatives, and personal outcomes accomplishments.
EDUCATION and EXPERIENCE:
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Healthcare Administration, or a related field.
- Seven years of progressive, increasing responsibility in Revenue Operations with demonstrated expertise and knowledge of the payor system and credentialing Providers with said payors.
- 5 years’ experience working with and developing budgets.
- 3 years of supervisory experience.
- Prior experience with Credible a plus.
- Driving may be required to attend meetings. Must have a valid MD/DC/VA driver’s license and clean driving record.
SKILLS and COMPETENCIES:
- Excellent communication skills required (written, verbal and interpersonal). Problem-solving techniques and strong analytical skills required.
- Knowledge of computer systems (MS Office products) is essential. Ability to work under pressure on multiple assignments with strong attention to detail.
