Lead the planning, organization and execution of fundraising strategies and stewardship and development initiatives to support the implementation and expansion of Pastoral Migratoria at the national level in pilot diocesan sites, including donor prospecting and relations, a major gifts program, annual funds/appeals, grants management, and special events. Pastoral Migratoria ® (PM) is an immigrant leadership ministry of service, justice and accompaniment in parish communities. Work under the guidance and support of the National Pastoral Migratoria (NPM) Fundraising Board and the Archdiocese of Chicago’s Senior National Coordinator for Immigration, and in collaboration with the Assistant Director of Development and other NPM staff.
Responsibilities
- Develop and execute creative fundraising campaigns, securing major gifts, annual funds, and grants to support PM’s national growth.
- Build meaningful relationships with major donors, sponsors, and partners, crafting compelling proposals and campaigns to maximize contributions.
- Lead special events and initiatives to elevate donor engagement and showcase PM’s impact.
- Oversee a robust donor stewardship program, ensuring timely recognition and communication of program successes.
- Collaborate with national leaders, board members, and staff to strategically expand PM’s funding base and reach.
- Drive content creation for reports, promotional materials, social media, and communications to amplify PM’s mission and accomplishments.
Requirements
- 5-7 years of experience in Development, Fundraising, Major Gifts or related field
- Bachelors' degree required. Masters preferred
- Bilingual (Spanish) preferred
- The Ideal candidate will be a practicing Catholic

This position has an annualized salary range of $76,238 - $114,357. An employee’s pay within the salary range will be based on many factors including but not limited to: relevant education, qualifications, experience, skills, geographic location, and organizational needs.
