Overview:
The Student Accounts Manager is responsible for managing the tuition agreement process and addressing delinquent tuition payments. This role requires strong organizational skills, excellent communication abilities, and a commitment to process improvement.
Customer Responsibilities:
- Agreement Management:
- Process new student aid applications
- Verify student eligibility and documentation
- Maintain accurate student records and databases
- Fund Liaison
- Work with funding agencies to ensure proper scholarship and grant funding is applied to student accounts
- Tuition and Fee Collection:
- Work closely with the Financial Service Manager to track and manage student tuition and fee balances
- Send out timely invoices and reminders
- Process tuition payments and refunds
- Delinquency Management:
- Identify and follow up on delinquent tuition accounts
- Contact students and parents to address outstanding balances
- Negotiate payment plans or arrangements
- Escalate delinquent accounts to Finance Department
- Customer Service:
- Provide excellent customer service to students, parents, and faculty
- Respond promptly to inquiries and resolve issues in a timely manner
- Maintain a positive and professional demeanor
Data Processing Responsibilities:
· Process Improvement: Take the lead in the creation of process improvements
- Data Entry and Reporting:
- Input student data accurately into the school's management system
- Generate reports on enrollment trends, tuition collections, and delinquency rates
- Assist with audits and compliance reviews
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 4 years of experience in customer service, financial services support, or related field
- Strong organizational and time management skills
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook)
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience in education administration or student financial services
- Familiarity with student information systems
- Knowledge of accounting and bookkeeping principles
- Bilingual in Spanish

Pay: $20.00 - $22.00 per hour
