Job Duties
Travel Account Managers work closely with our clients and suppliers daily. They manage all aspects of an international group trip from inception to culmination. Their work is challenging, demanding, and rewarding. They work with priests and other well-known Catholic thought leaders in planning their pilgrimage trips. They are never bored! They are the critical frontline for our business.
Responsibilities
-Undertake daily administrative tasks to ensure the functionality and coordination of the international group trips.
-Communicate daily with Clients, travelers, suppliers, and ground services through email, phone, and mail.
-Negotiate pricing and terms with suppliers and partners
-Implement and oversee complex ground itineraries and river cruises for multiple groups simultaneously
-Manage group and individual air bookings
-Proofread and edit brochures, contracts, and marketing materials that support your groups.
-Update spreadsheets, databases, and registration software with confidential, financial, and non-financial information.
-Respond to client inquiries.
-Be an on-call primary point of contact while groups travel, including some evening and weekend work.
-Annual International travel of 10-12 days for FAM trips, site inspections, or to accompany groups.
-Requirements
-Proven experience in the travel industry
-Public speaking experience.
-Account Management experience in the travel industry is an advantage
-Background in Cruise travel is an advantage.
-Demonstrable ability to multi-task, set priorities, and adhere to deadlines.
-Well-organized, detail-oriented team player with a customer-service approach.
-Excellent knowledge of MS Office, Google Workplace, and online applications (CRM tools, registration systems, etc.)
-Exquisite communication and people skills
-Ability to travel internationally (Passport required)
