We are accepting applications for part-time Housekeeper/Banquet Set-Up positions. This position is the unseen heart of what we do when we provide exceptional hospitality at St. Francis Retreat Center. By providing a welcoming, clean, and comfortable environment that is ready for our guests upon arrival, they can fully enter into a peaceful retreat experience.

Team Member Duties:
- Possess a cheerful disposition that will be projected to our guests through their work.
- Reporting directly to the Housekeeping Manager, this position is primarily responsible to clean and prepare assigned areas in Retreat Center buildings and potentially at our off-site client locations.
- Perform general housekeeping tasks such as: prepare beds, sweep, mop, and vacuum rugs, carpets, floors, and wash windows, walls, and other assigned areas to ensure that rooms are clean and ready for our guests.
- Assist with conference room set up and break down for our guests.
- Perform other related duties incidental to the work as assigned
Who We Are Looking For:
- Friendly, outgoing personality with a desire to provide superior hospitality to our guests
- Prior housekeeping and/or banquet set up experience is preferred
- Ability to lift and carry light to heavy loads up to 50 pounds
- Ability to assist in the set up and tear down of tables, chairs, and other conference center items, and ensure proper set up of conference rooms and other spaces according to instructions.
- Assemble and arrange conference equipment in conference rooms per event requirements.
- Ensure proper use, storage, and maintenance of all AV and meeting room equipment.
- Must be able to work with others in a team atmosphere.
- Professional appearance.
- Ability to be proactive and resourceful when circumstances change.
- Ability to organize, multitask, prioritize job duties.
- Evenings, weekends, and holidays are a regular part of the schedule.
- Must be dependable to arrive to work timely and work as expected.
Physical Requirements:
- This position requires moderate to strenuous physical activity including but not limited to: stooping, kneeling, using a ladder, moving items such as mattresses and bed frames, lifting light to heavy loads, and being physically active for prolonged periods of time.
