St. Vincent de Paul Distribution Center Receptionist Part-time
Come join the St. Vincent de Paul Thrift Stores and help support the many vital programs that assists the poor in our community.
Responsibilities:
- Greet and welcome guests as soon as they arrive at the office
- Answer and effectively schedule donor pickups
- Ensure reception and warehouse areas are tidy and presentable
- Provide basic and accurate information in-person and via phone/email
- Receive, sort and distribute donations
- Maintain office security by following safety procedures and controlling access
- Order front office supplies and keep inventory of stock
- Keep updated records of office expenses and costs
- Perform other clerical duties
- Reliable and punctual attendance
Qualifications:
- Proven work experience as a Receptionist or similar role
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
- Proficient in Google Email
- Hands-on experience with office equipment (e.g. fax machines and printers)
- Professional attitude and appearance
- Solid written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to be resourceful and proactive when issues arise
- Excellent organizational skills
- Multitasking and time-management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks
- Customer service attitude
- High school degree or equivalent
Schedule:
- 4 hour shift
- Holidays
- Monday to Friday
- On call
- Overtime
- Weekend availability
Experience:
- customer service: 2 years (Preferred)
Work Location: In person
