Job Summary: The Director of Employee Spiritual Care and Wholeness provides leadership for the department of Employee Spiritual Care and Wholeness. Promotes wholeness among employees, promotes whole person care in the institution by educating, mentoring and motivating personnel. Assists in motivating and developing confidence and ability among clinical staff to provide spiritual care to patients. Coordinates the four nursing-based bereavement programs. Coordinates the Values in Practice Program. To meet the Internal Review Service (IRS) standards for ministerial services and parsonage eligibility requirements, the required ministerial responsibilities must be performed. These services may be provided for both LLUMC and LLUCH hospitals. Performs other duties as needed.
Education and Experience: Bachelor's Degree in clinical healthcare field required. Master's Degree in Mental Health or Ministerial field required; Master's Degree in progress accepted. Minimum three years of experience in healthcare or mental health field required. Minimum one year experience in counseling, or related field, preferred.

Able to communicate effectively in English, in person, in writing and on the telephone; think critically; perform basic math functions; manage multiple assignments effectively; organize and prioritize workload; work well under pressure; problem solve; recall information; pay close attention to detail; work independently with minimal supervision. Able to distinguish colors as necessary; write, hear, read and speak sufficiently for general conversation in person and on the telephone; identify and distinguish various sounds associated with workplace; see adequately to read computer screens and written documents necessary to the position.
Licensures and Certifications: Ministerial credential, commissioned ministerial credential, and ministerial license required. North America Division (NAD) ministerial license required if considered by the church a Spiritual Leader.
