After School Cleaner
Visitation BVM Catholic School in Norristown is accepting applications for an afternoon Cleaner. This person would be responsible for the daily cleaning of classrooms and bathrooms, Monday-Friday, 3:00-6:00 PM. (hours flexible)
Duties and Responsibilities:
· Perform routine cleaning tasks such as sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, and dusting to maintain cleanliness throughout the school including in classrooms and restrooms.
· Remove trash.
· Clean restrooms including toilets, sinks, floors.
· Follow safety protocols and procedures to maintain a safe working environment for yourself and others.
· Work collaboratively with team members to achieve departmental goals and objectives.
· Maintain a hospitable and friendly attitude toward co-workers and other staff.
Reports to: Maintenance Supervisor
Requirements:
· High School Diploma or GED;
· Prior custodial experience preferred but not mandatory
· Pennsylvania State Police Background Check
· Child Abuse Clearance
· FBI fingerprinting
· Other required child clearances
Candidate must have all required clearances and must attend the Protecting God's Children class provided by the Archdiocese of Philadelphia.
