Job Summary
This is a full-time position, Monday-Friday, with salaries that are competitive.
The successful candidate will be an active, faith filled-Catholic and possess/or be
able to obtain a Nevada State Teaching License.
Preferred qualifications include: previous experience in Choir and Music
instruction for students in Pre-Kindergarten through Grade 8, demonstrated
experience of strong classroom management skills, and excellent verbal and
written communication skills
Responsibilities
- Develop and implement comprehensive music lesson plans tailored to the needs of students.
- Teach various aspects of music including theory, history, and performance techniques.
- Conduct individual and group lessons for students of different age groups.
- Foster a positive classroom environment that encourages creativity and self-expression.
- Assess student progress through regular evaluations and provide constructive feedback.
- Collaborate with other educators to integrate music into broader educational programs, especially connected to religious activities and celebrations..
- Organize performances, recitals, or showcases to highlight student achievements with a Catholic connection.
- Maintain classroom organization and manage resources effectively.
Skills
- An active faith filled-Catholic
- Strong understanding of music theory and practical application in teaching.
- Experience working with children in an educational setting, particularly in preschool or special education environments.
- Ability to develop engaging curriculum that meets diverse learning needs.
- Knowledge of various musical instruments and vocal techniques.
- Experience in related fields such as theater is a plus.
- Excellent communication skills to effectively interact with students, parents, and colleagues.
- Patience and adaptability in addressing different learning styles among students.

Pay: $30,000.00 - $45,000.00 per year
