The Digital Campaigns Marketing Strategist will increase brand awareness, promote the breadth of OSV Publishing products, and drive sales through content-driven digital marketing campaigns. This role requires an understanding of email marketing, SEO and SEM, marketing automation and data analysis.
Essential Job Functions:
Plan, manage, and execute lead acquisition and nurturing campaigns in collaboration with the Content team
Monitor and analyze digital marketing metrics, providing regular reporting to management
Maintain a comprehensive content marketing calendar
Create, manage, and analyze ad campaigns across platforms such as Google Ads and Meta
Work closely with Content, Design, and Marketing teams to build and maintain consistent brand tone, style, and visual experience across digital channels
Monitor digital marketing trends in the publishing and Catholic marketplace to generate ideas to increase engagement with OSV Publishing
Requirements:
Education:
Bachelor's degree in digital media, English, Communications, Journalism, or a related field strongly desired. A combination of relevant work experience and education will be considered.
Coursework in theology or related field preferred.
Experience:
A minimum 3 years of experience in digital marketing, marketing automation and/or marketing operations
Experience in building and maintaining SEM campaigns
Familiarity with CRM systems and marketing automation software
Exposure to project management and a deadline-driven environment
Skills and Abilities:
Project management skills with the ability to facilitate and maintain excellent communication and collaboration within a cross-functional team
Proficiency in marketing automation and email platforms
Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, InDesign)
An understanding of HTML/CSS a plus
Ability to work in deadline-driven environment while maintaining attention to detail
Strong understanding of digital marketing practices and audience engagement strategies
Excellent copywriting, proofreading, and editing skills
Ability to analyze audience data and adjust content strategies accordingly
Creative thinking and problem-solving abilities, with a collaborative and cooperative working style
Proficient knowledge of the teachings, practices, and traditions of the Catholic Church with the ability to apply that knowledge within a writing, editing, and content development framework
Working Environment:
Depending on the candidate, hybrid and fully remote work is a possibility
Must be able to sit for the majority of one's shift
May be required to travel a few times a year
