The E-Commerce Marketing Specialist maintains the consumer e-commerce website, analyzes results, and implements best-in-class digital strategies to improve brand loyalty, reach, and revenue generation. This role collaborates with the Marketing and Editorial teams to develop and execute digital content marketing and customer engagement strategies for the e-commerce platform, consumer content websites, and promotional efforts.
Essential Job Functions:
Oversee and optimize OSV's e-commerce site and related consumer content sites
Manage and update product content, set up and monitor promotions, organize metadata and troubleshoot
Lead retail SEO strategy and identify opportunities for expanded audience reach via SEM and organic SEO within the Catholic book and content marketplace
Develop and monitor for opportunities in inbound marketing and e-commerce site traffic management
Maintain branding across all digital platforms related to e-commerce and e-commerce marketing in partnership with Design team
Track and report on performance and trends including customer journeys to assess and adjust campaigns
Monitor and evaluate customer feedback to ensure that the e-commerce experience meets/exceeds expectations
Provide support for email marketing campaigns and marketing automation
Requirements:
3+ years of experience in e-commerce or digital marketing including website development/maintenance
Familiarity with digital and social marketing applications like Meta, Hootsuite and Google Ads
Proficiency with web content management systems, preference for Magento/Adobe Commerce
Experience with analyzing and reporting on Google Analytics including familiarity with the GA4
Strong analytical and organizational skills
Attention to detail across projects and campaigns
Strong time management skills and ability to meet deadlines
Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the desire to work in a collaborative, team-oriented environment.
Proficiency with Microsoft Office, especially Excel, Word, Outlook, and PowerPoint
Proficient knowledge of the teachings, practices, and traditions of the Catholic Church with the ability to apply that knowledge within a marketing framework
Desire to work in a mission-driven environment.
Education:
Bachelor's degree or a combination of education and experience preferred.
Working Environment:
Incumbent will be working in an office environment
Position can be on-site, remote, or hybrid
The incumbent may be required to travel a few times a year
