We are seeking a motivated and results-driven Advertising Sales Account Executive to join our team. In this role, you will be the primary liaison between OSV advertising clients and the OSV creative and production team, ensuring that client needs are met with exceptional service and innovative advertising solutions. You will manage client accounts, develop strategic advertising proposals, and coordinate campaign execution, all while building and maintaining strong relationships. This position may be performed remotely, from a home office or onsite in Huntington, IN. Some travel may be required to serve as a representative at trade shows, visit clients nationwide and to the main OSV office in Huntington, IN.
Essential Job Functions:
Nurture a solid relationship with each of your clients, representing OSV as a professional advertising consultant that sets the standard for the industry
Achieve annual individual advertising revenue targets through solicitation and placement of advertising in OSV and affiliate products on-line and in print
Maximize growth of individual advertising revenue from prospecting and up selling, creating effective proposals, and working within set guidelines
Establish and maintain accurate data entry in the CRM database for client interactions
Understand the marketplace and competition in order to better advise client base
Attend assigned meetings.
Maintain a sound knowledge of OSV and affiliate products to better advise clients
Meet deadlines and recognize the importance of collaboration and respect when working with others at OSV.
Keep Advertising Sales Manager informed on all aspects of activities
Encourage a positive work environment and experience for clients and coworkers
Takes initiative and responsibility for decisions as an individual and as an employee of OSV
Utilize material, equipment and time in a safe, beneficial and cost-effective manner; organize workload to complete responsibilities in an appropriate and timely manner.
Performs other duties and activities related to the work and responsibilities of this position and as assigned by the Advertising Sales Manager.
Requirements:
Experience:
Because of the type of business OSV is and the subscribers OSV works with, knowledge of Catholic teachings and doctrine is helpful but not required.
Minimum of one year in sales with some knowledge of advertising would be beneficial, but not a requirement.
2-3 years of work experience in office, sales, or customer service required.
Knowledge of printing is a plus but not required.
Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite required.
Ability to effectively use and research on the internet required.
Demonstrated familiarity with using standard business computer application(s) and/or ability to learn current and new applications required.
Ability to effectively use office equipment required.
Education:
High school diploma or equivalent is required
Associate's degree preferred
