Looking for a part-time candidate to work as a substitute teacher. Opportunities for work are either known a few weeks in advance or the morning of if a teacher calls out. If live close to the school and are willing to come in on a moment's notice, this may be a good opportunity for you. For most of the classes, work is posted on GoogleClassroom or left by the teacher so it's a matter of just supervising kids doing their work. Included is a lunch period of 45 minutes and usually a preparatory period. It's a really good gig and the kids are great.
Candidate must become Virtus certified through the Diocese of Brooklyn/Queens which is a 3 hour course.
