We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Classroom Teacher to join our educational team to provide instructional support to students in a private school setting, ensuring a positive and engaging learning environment. The ideal candidate will possess a passion for education, a strong understanding of middle school-aged children, and the ability to effectively manage classroom dynamics. Duties will include: - Implement engaging and interactive lesson plans, utilizing a variety of teaching strategies and techniques. - Manage classroom behavior and ensure a safe and respectful learning environment. - Utilize behavior management strategies to address student behavioral issues. - Prepare, develop and implement individualized lesson plans and curriculum. - Tutor students in specific subjects or areas of need, providing additional support to help them succeed. - Provide supervision of students during recess, lunch, assemblies, weekly Mass and and other activities and events. - Maintain accurate records of student attendance, progress, and behavior. - Adapt to changing classroom situations and unexpected challenges. - Communicate regularly with parents on student progress, development and behaviors. Requirements: - Bachelor's degree - Experience working with middle school students in a classroom setting, preferably in a private school environment. - Proven classroom management skills, with the ability to manage student behavior and create a positive and respectful learning environment. - Experience with curriculum development, including the ability to adapt to changing curriculum needs. - Experience working in a classroom setting, preferably in a private school environment. - Ability to provide tutoring services to students in specific subjects or areas of need, specifically Math. - Bachelor's degree in Education or a related field required. - Teacher certification in Math is highly preferred.
