The Catholic Foundation of South Louisiana is currently seeking a full-time employee for the ministry of
Marketing and Graphics Representative. The Marketing and Graphics Representative (MGR) reports to and works closely with the CEO to drive marketing and communications strategies to enhance and strengthen the position of the Catholic Foundation to effectively engage Catholic donors, parishes, schools, and nonprofit ministries across the Diocese of Houma-Thibodaux.
We are seeking a self-motivated, creative marketing professional to oversee all online and offline communications with multiple audiences. This individual will implement strategic marketing efforts, communications, programmatic support, and media relations. These include our newsletters, website, local #iGiveCatholic campaign, direct mail, special events, promotional items, annual report, and other donor-centric communications.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE THE FOLLOWING:

- Collaborate with the CEO to implement the Foundation’s approved marketing communications strategy.
- Responsible for planning, developing, and communicating consistent messages across print and electronic communication vehicles. Ensures that key, strategic messages are communicated effectively to various Foundation audiences.
- Responsible for the achievement of marketing/communication/public relations goals. Ensure that evaluation systems are in place related to these goals and objectives, and timely report progress to the CEO of the Foundation.
- Produces public relations material, advertising, marketing collateral and assists with event coordination.
- Design and manage timely content for the Foundation website and electronic media communications including recommending new initiatives and updating those communications on a regular basis.
- Collaborate with the CEO to design and implement consistent strategy for #iGiveCatholic
- Develop and oversee web and social media content, design, and updates including Facebook, Instagram and LinkedIn
- Ensure articulation of the Foundation’s desired image and position, assure consistent communication throughout the Foundation, and assure communication of image and position to all constituencies, across all mediums both internal and external.
Education and Experience Qualifications:
- Degree in marketing, communications, or related field
- 2-3 years of proven experience in marketing/communications field
- Proficient at Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Canva, Adobe Acrobat and Adobe InDesign.
- Knowledge of Monday.com or other project management system.
- Knowledge of Wordpress for website management and design.
Other Qualifications:
- Diverse skill set and broad knowledge of the marketing principles, branding standards and corporate policies used to develop marketing and advertising materials.
- Strong writing and editing skills for print and presentation projects.
- Strong presentation skills and ability to work under stress and meet deadlines.
- Good project management and execution skills.
- Excellent oral communicator. Skilled at building and maintaining positive interpersonal relations with all internal and external constituencies.
- Proven and demonstrated use of all social media platforms including websites.
- Self-motivated, confident, energetic, creative and ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Knowledge of Computer software specifically MS Office
- High level of confidentiality and professionalism
- Able to work independently and as a team, take initiative and effective in problem solving
- Ability to successfully complete the Diocesan Safe Environment Training; can be done on-the-job
- Knowledge of and respect for the Catholic teachings
- Knowledge and skills of event photography is a plus.
The position will require a work schedule of 35 hours per week; Monday-Friday 8:30 am-4:30 pm. Excellent benefits and generous paid time off included. Compensation will commensurate with experience and education.
