As the Gift Planning Coordinator, you will play a vital role in strengthening relationships with The Catholic Foundation (Foundation) donors, contributing to the financial health of our mission-driven organization. You will provide essential administrative and technical support to the Business Development team, ensuring the seamless coordination of stewardship efforts and elevating donor engagement through excellent communication and relationship building.
What You'll Do:
Donor Relations & Communication:
- Conduct internal research, create letters and other documents, to assist the development team with donor engagement.
- Add and track donor activity in Raiser's Edge (RE) and planned giving in a separate database (Bequest Manager).
- Update Planned Gift agreements and create new agreements as needed.
Event Support:
- Prepare marketing packets, handouts, and sign-in sheets for events, presentations, and meetings.
- Assist with Networking Breakfast and Evening of Appreciation events, including invitations, collecting responses, name tags, and on-site support as needed.
Administrative Support:
- Coordinate the Holy Family Legacy Society All Souls Day Mass Intentions project, including producing 500 letters, monitoring responses and delivering them to the appropriate office.
- Organize and maintain online or hard copy files for donor-advised funds (DAF), parish/school funds, lifetime giving societies, and partner organizations.
What You'll Need to Succeed:
- High school diploma or GED required, with a college degree in business administration, nonprofit management, communications or a related field preferred.
- Two (2) or more years of experience in donor relations or administrative support.
- Strong organizational and multitasking skills with excellent attention to detail and communication abilities.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and donor management software (experience with Raiser's Edge is a plus).
- Attention to detail with a high level of accuracy.
- Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
- Proactive, service-oriented mindset with strong interpersonal skills.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality.
- Practicing Catholic preferred to align with the values and mission of the Foundation.
- Bilingual in English and Spanish is a plus.

Compensation:
Salary range is between $55,000 - $75,000 - may be eligible for additional, discretionary incentive compensation based on individual's performance and experience. Compensation will be determined by a number of factors including educational background and experience.
