As the Operations and Grant Coordinator, you will play a pivotal role in keeping The Catholic Foundation (Foundation) office running efficiently while directly contributing to the success of the Foundation's grants program. This position contributes directly to the Foundation's mission by managing office operations and coordinating key aspects of the grant process.
What You'll Do:
- Provide administrative support for grant-related activities, from processing grants online to communicating through the Foundation Cloud Grant (FCG) system.
- Assist in evaluating potential grant recipients, ensuring compliance with the Foundation's requirements.
- Collaborate with Catholic parishes, schools, and organizations to further the Foundation's mission.
- Coordinate and manage office events and functions.
- Maintain a productive work environment by managing daily office operations, including kitchen and supply inventory.
- Be the go-to person for organizing and placing lunch orders, as well as handling all incoming and outgoing mail.
- Scan and manage financial documents in SharePoint, keeping the Business Development team informed.
- Prepare and manage expense reports, ensuring accuracy and timely submissions each month.
What You'll Need to Succeed:
- High school diploma or GED required, with a college degree in business administration, communications, or a related field preferred.
- Two (2) or more years of relevant experience in an administrative or office management role.
- Experience in grant coordination, office management or non-profit environments is highly valued.
- Strong organizational skills and a detailed mindset with the ability to juggle multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and SharePoint.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Basic financial acumen, with experience in handling expense reports.
- Practicing Catholic preferred to align with the values and mission of the Foundation.
- Bilingual proficiency in English and Spanish is a plus but not required.

Compensation:
- Salary range is between $55,000 - $75,000 - may be eligible for additional, discretionary incentive compensation based on individual's performance and experience.
