Manager, Events and Appeals
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Plans, oversees and coordinates all logistics for events including, but not limited to, venue, decorations, attendee list, entertainment, food, etc., to ensure events run smoothly and achieve desired goals and are consistent with Agency mission and Catholic teachings.
Plans, oversees and coordinates all logistics for appeals including, but not limited to, vendors, yearly output planning, costs, etc., to ensure the appeals achieve desired goals and are consistent with Agency mission and Catholic teachings.
Develops, implements and adheres to effective event and appeals planning timelines and ensures deadlines are met.
Plans and provides material for events and appeals marketing collateral to strategically promote the ministry.
Works and plans with development team to fill events with the best donors.
Produce event programming with input from benefitting ministry and CDO.
Evaluates, selects and negotiates contracts with vendors for both events and appeals.
Personal car may be required for work related business.
Qualifications
Demonstrated ability to effectively plan and execute creative, fundraising events from concept through post -event evaluation.
Able to manage multiple priorities simultaneously and meet deadlines.
Demonstrated ability to effectively motivate and include volunteers.
COMPENSATION & BENEFITS
$60,000.00-$65,000.00/Annually
Schedule: This is a full-time position, 40 hours per week.
EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE
Bachelor's degree (BA/BS) from accredited four-year college or university; and one to two years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
