Holy Family Catholic Church in Dale City, VA, is seeking a full-time Business Manager, providing administrative support to the pastor in the areas of financial management and stewardship. Working closely with the Pastor, Parish Finance Council, and the School Principal, the Business Manager will have responsibility for all accounting and finance functions including managing accounts payable and receivable, all aspects of financial reporting, annual appeals, monitoring internal financial controls, cash management and the annual budget process and all aspects of HR and payroll processing.

The successful candidate will be a strong leader and manager who possesses excellent oral and written communication and problem-solving skills. This self-starter and one who takes quick initiative, will have the ability to organize, prioritize, and manage multiple tasks concurrently and to maintain effective working relationships with internal and external contacts, which is also critical. We require a BS/BA in accounting, business, finance or a closely related field; minimum of five years' experience in finance/accounting/business management; prior experience with QuickBooks, Excel, and database management systems; and a minimum of three years supervisory experience and human resource responsibility. The candidate must be a Catholic in good standing in her/his parish who has demonstrated strengths in leadership, teamwork, decision making, and knowledge of financial and personnel management.
