We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Middle School Science and Math Teacher to join our team.
The ideal candidate will foster a positive learning environment, develop engaging and effective lesson plans, and utilize a variety of teaching strategies to support diverse learners. Additionally, integrating Faith into his or her curriculum is paramount to the overall success and growth of our students!
Key Responsibilities:
Plan and deliver high-quality instruction in science and math for grades 6-7.
Develop and implement lesson plans that align with state standards and school curriculum.
Assess and monitor student progress, providing feedback and support to enhance learning.
Create a classroom environment that encourages student engagement and promotes a love of learning.
Use technology and hands-on activities to support and enhance instruction.
Collaborate with other teachers, staff, and parents to support student growth and development.
Participate in school events, professional development, and other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Education, Science, Mathematics, or a related field.
Valid teaching certification for middle school education.
Experience teaching middle school students, particularly in science and math.
Strong knowledge of instructional strategies and curriculum development.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to inspire and motivate students.
