The Immigrant & Refugee Services Division at Catholic Charities of the Archdiocese of Newark is seeking a Full Time Intake Coordinator to support Refugee Support Services program. The Intake Coordinator will be responsible for the following primary job duties:
- Manage reception area
- Assist potential clients with program inquiries
- Perform initial refugee program eligibility assessments
- Direct potential clients to appropriate programs
- Place potential refugee clients in the group enrollment appointment sheet
- Provide general program information and community resources
- Answer main line, distribute calls/messages accordingly
- Manage general inbox
Required qualifications:
- High school diploma or 2 years experience in customer service or reception/front desk role
- Fluency in Spanish or Haitian Creole
- Previous experience in a non-profit or government setting preferred
