Job Description
The Church of the Holy Trinity is a vibrant Episcopal community in Center City, Philadelphia in the Rittenhouse Square neighborhood. We are dedicated to deepening our connection with and service to the neighborhood and city. Through events, concerts, our Open Hearts Café—providing food and clothing to those in need—worship, and our welcoming presence throughout the week, we actively engage with and support our community.
Position Description
We are committed to fostering a joyful, fearless, inclusive, and engaged staff. The Church Administrator will collaborate closely with the Rector to cultivate this environment and ensure a welcoming atmosphere for parishioners and visitors at our bustling urban parish. The Church Administrator is responsible for day-to-day administrative and operational functions, supervising community and facilities staff, and collaborating with the rest of the team, committee leaders, and church vestry members to support all aspects of church operations.

Staff Management

Office Management and Operational Oversight
•
Onsite Property Management in partnership with the Property Committee
Basic Position Requirements
•
Previous office administration and/or property management experience
•
Highly organized: ability to balance multiple priorities, deadlines and tasks
•
Ability to work both independently as a self-starter and as part of a team Comfort with computers and technology and a willingness to troubleshoot issues
•
Competency in Microsoft365 suite
•
Ability to communicate effectively with a wide variety of people including people experiencing homelessness, parish volunteers, and visitors
Skills that are desired but not required
•
Prior experience in a church office setting
•
Experience with the ACS Realm database
Salary: +-$65,000 plus benefits (insurance/403b). Typical work week is Monday through Friday, but the candidate should be available for occasional work at other times. The position reports directly to the Rector.
