Description:
Bishop LeBlond High School seeks a theater director/sponsor. Bishop LeBlond High School, serving scholars in grades nine through twelve, is a Catholic, college preparatory school providing a quality education by embracing academic excellence and promoting social and spiritual growth. Bishop LeBlond is the high school campus of the St. Joseph Catholic Academy located in St. Joseph, MO. The position is considered part time for the 2024-2025 school year, and reports to the Principal of Bishop LeBlond High School.
Desired qualities that we look for in applicants are a positive and professional attitude, good communication skills, and the ability to collaborate with others
Responsibilities:
- Work with co-director & executive director to prepare & present dramatic productions.
- Communicate with participants & their families in a professional & timely manner.
- Prepare and share rehearsal schedules.
- Prepare & conduct efficient rehearsals.
- Maintain a safe & professional environment for students.
Qualifications:
- Familiarity with the Catholic understanding of ministry is an asset.
- Three or more years’ experience in theater directing preferred.
- Bachelor’s degree in preferred.
