HOLY CROSS FAMILY MINISTRIES FOUNDATION
Holy Cross Family Ministries seeks an experienced, mission-driven, proven advancement professional as its Advancement Services and Communications Manager ready to build upon the significant growth and success of a relatively young, well-respected, and effective national program. Located in Easton, MA on the nearby grounds of the prestigious, Congregation of Holy Cross sponsored Stonehill College, Holy Cross Family Ministries is blessed with a sizable endowment, multiple long-established and proven ministries across the United States and in sixteen other countries on five continents across the world. Founded by the well-known and beloved Venerable Patrick Peyton, C.S.C., "The Rosary Priest," in 1942, the Foundation provides the oversight of the endowment and leadership in broadening and growing significant philanthropic support to assure the long-term life and impact of the Ministries.
POSITION DESCRIPTION:
The Advancement Services and Communications Manager reports to and works closely with the Executive Director of Advancement of Holy Cross Family Ministries.
POSITION OVERVIEW:
The Advancement Services and Communications Manager's primary responsibility is the strategic execution and management of the donor communication programming in coordination with the overall HCFM Office of Communications including newsletters, event invitations, appeals, annual impact reports, email campaigns and social media to drive annual giving and stewarding of donors. The role also supports the achievement of Advancement goals through prospect research and analysis, maintenance of the Raiser's Edge donor database, and fundraising reporting and analytics.
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Prepare, coordinate, and manage scheduled appeal mailings, seasonal and special mailings, multiple email appeals and increasing mission awareness and growing constituency through social media.
• Prepare, coordinate, and manage scheduled newsletters, the annual Impact Report and bi-annual Board/Major Donor updates
• Participate in the design and production of brochures, webpages and other materials as needed for organizational support in conjunction with the advancement team and vendors
• Ongoing review and management of the HCFM website related to advancement in coordination with the overall HCFM Office of Communications and Marketing
• Manage weekly tracking and reporting of all gifts received
• Manage major donor and prospect portfolios
• Perform prospect research and analysis on individuals, religious organizations, corporations, and foundations who have affinity and capacity which aligns to the fundraising goals and objectives of HCFM
• Collect and analyze key biographical and financial information about current and potential donors with the goal of increasing their philanthropic support
• Grant application development and reporting
• Provide Raiser's Edge support across all HCFM departments
• Point of contact for Advancement & Finance monthly reconciliation
GENERAL QUALIFICATIONS/COMPETENCIES:
• Fundamental knowledge and belief in the Catholic / Christian faith traditions
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to work independently and manage details within broader vision of overall HCFM Advancement Strategies
• Team player, self-starter, interested in personal and professional growth and comfort level working with diverse global constituents
• Computer literacy MS Office 365, including Teams, Excel, desktop publishing, and fundraising-related software programs
• Inquisitive mindset, proficient researching skills individuals, corporations and foundations utilizing various on-line research tools and outreach.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:
• Bachelor's degree
• 5-8 years of experience in non-profit development/fundraising or related experience
• Demonstrated technology-based aptitude and skill set.
