General Summary Of Essential Purpose
The Outreach Coordinator acts as an Outreach Sales Representative for Associated Catholic Cemeteries and is tasked with conducting Parish Seminars, Open Houses, attending Parish and Catholic School events such as auctions, festivals, etc. Within these interactions, they provide comprehensive presentations of the services available within the context of the Catholic burial tradition. Their primary objective is to encourage families to consider pre-planning for burial arrangements at one of ACC's locations, ensuring that their needs are addressed with sensitivity and professionalism throughout the process.
Essential Position Duties

Conduct personalized, in-home or in cemetery office appointments with families to discuss burial options and pre-planning services offered by Associated Catholic Cemeteries.
Explain the significance of Catholic burial traditions and how they align with the services provided by ACC.
Provide compassionate guidance and support to families as they navigate the pre-planning process, addressing any concerns or questions they may have.
Collaborate with families to understand their preferences and ensure that their wishes are accurately documented and reflected in their burial arrangements.
Maintain thorough knowledge of ACC's cemetery locations, available services, pricing, and any relevant policies or procedures.
Develop and maintain positive relationships with families, clergy, and Catholic and Christian community members to foster trust and promote ACC's services.
Keep accurate records of interactions and follow-up activities using designated CRM systems or databases.
Stay informed about industry trends, competitor offerings, and changes in Catholic burial practices to continually improve service delivery and meet the needs of families effectively.
Actively engage in sales meetings, one-on-one consultations, “ACC Call Nights” and company gatherings to stay informed about company updates, sales strategies, and best practices for promoting ACC's services.
Participate in parish seminars and Catholic school events, such as auctions and festivals, to raise awareness about ACC's offerings and establish connections within the community.
Demonstrate flexibility and availability to accommodate varying schedules, including evenings and weekends, to meet with families and participate in community events as needed.
Effectively represent ACC's mission and values during public engagements, fostering trust and credibility among potential clients and community members.
Be available for coverage at ACC's locations during holidays and significant liturgical days, including but not limited to Memorial Day Weekend, All Souls Day, Mother's Day, Easter, Christmas, and other important Catholic observances.
Ensure that ACC's facilities are adequately staffed and prepared to accommodate increased visitor traffic during these peak periods, providing exceptional service and support to families visiting the cemeteries.
Coordinate with colleagues to implement special events or promotions aligned with these occasions, leveraging them as opportunities to engage with families and promote pre-planning services.
Stay informed about any specific traditions or customs associated with these holidays and liturgical days, demonstrating cultural sensitivity and respect in all interactions with families and visitors.
Maintain a professional and welcoming presence at ACC's locations during these times, embodying the organization's commitment to compassionate care and support for grieving families.
Essential Qualifications

Primary
Willingness and ability to support the mission of the Church by extending the ministry of the Archbishop.
Ability and desire to use God-given gifts and talents in service of the local Church.
Education
High School/GED.
Experience
Sales experience (cemetery preferred)
Other Elements
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
Valid Washington State driver’s license and automobile insurance.
Personal vehicle.
Any offered salary is determined based on internal equity, internal salary ranges, market data, applicant’s skills and prior relevant experience, certain degrees and certifications.
