Maintenance Technician and Coordinator
• Support the Facility Services Team during the school day as needed.
o Critical school activities managed by the Facility Services Team include:
▪ Lunch: 9:00 AM to 2:00 PM. Back-up for Facility Services Team on the lunch period. Lunch activity runs from
▪ Drop-of: 7:00 AM to 8:10 AM. Establish barrier in parking lot between students play area and church parking.
▪ Car Line (Pick-up): 2:40 PM to 3:45 PM. Be available as needed.
• Develop and implement a time-based preventative maintenance schedule across all systems as
required.
o Consult with the appropriate Home Team Advisor for guidance and recommendations.
• Respond to maintenance requests and notices of issues that need to be addressed as guided by the SAM Maintenance Escalation Process.
o Assess the issue and develop a corrective action plan to remedy the situation.
o Conduct the repair or mitigation as capable.
▪ For issues that need additional support, follow the SAM Maintenance Escalation Process:
• Consult with the appropriate Home Team Advisor for guidance and recommendations.
• If necessary, escalate to Pastor or Principal as to approve the use of an outside contractor.
• Order parts and materials required for repairs or replacements as well as supplies required for the Facility Services Team.
• Provide status reports to Pastor and Principal as requested:
o Daily on critical or emergency issues in progress
o Weekly with End-of- Week Summary and Forecast of Next Week Activity
• Provide maintenance advice and recommendations to Pastor and/or Principal as appropriate or requested.
• Ensure the security perimeter is maintained throughout the school day.
o Ensure all gates close and lock behind you as you move about the facilities.
o Direct visitors to sign-in at the office.
o Check out "tailgaters" as they follow through opened gates and doors.
• Participate in meetings with Pastor and/or Principal as requested.
• Assist Faculty. Staff, Students, and other organizations as requested.
