It is important that our receptionist model the mission, philosophy and goals of Monsignor Clarke School to all staff, parents, students, and the community.General job responsibilities for the Monsignor Clarke Receptionist include: Maintain confidentiality in all school matters.Answer phones, transfer phone messages - prioritize messages especially for Principal and Assistant PrincipalWith safety as a focus, oversee the schools front entrance (i.e. admit screen and monitor visitors, parents, vendors, and volunteers) Manage visitor registration protocol.Proficient in Microsoft Office suite (Word, Excel, etc), and Google suit platformDistribute mail, copy, organize, distribute weekly and special notices for teachers etc.Collaborate with the Administrative assistant to Principal as needed.Collaborate in assign/manage room use for conference room, library, cafeteria, gym for events during school dayMaintain all student filesincluding new students, existing students (report cards, test results, etc.), correspond with schools related to student filesProvide student records for all high schools and transfer schools as needed.Compile and report student daily attendance us FACTS system Maintain an electronic file of all forms, documents, programs and special documents for liturgies, assemblies, events etc.
Contribute to a weekly parent newsletter utilizing the Constant Contact platform when necessaryProvide health services to students in nurses absence (band aid, ice, etc.) Work with the Assistant Principal to help arrange for substitute teachers as needed and provide them with teachers assignments for the day. Make sure substitutes know where to go when they arrive at school. Monsignor Clarke Catholic School is located on a beautiful campus with a view of Narragansett Bay in South Kingstown, RI.
