Responsibilities
- Service over 450 devices across both campuses
- Maintenance of our MDM
- Troubleshooting technology issues both student and staff daily
- Integrating software
- Maintenance and rolling out hardware
- Managing GSuite accounts
- Monitoring device security systems
- Structuring repairs and completing repairs
- Using the SDD system to mass communicate electronically with families
- Completing the report card process, including ensuring all grades have been entered, grades have been permanently stored, and reports run
- Forwarding school initiatives (SLC’s, Seesaw, etc.)
- Meeting with teachers to communicate and teach software that enhance the curriculum and safety of our schools
- Collaborates with teachers in composing effective technology-infused, content-based lessons, and supports the teachers as they implement the lessons in their classrooms.
- Promotes model instructional practices and the role of technology in them.
- Articulates appropriate instructional technology practices as described in technology standards for students and teachers.
- Provides assistance and training to building instructional staff on integrating technology to support
- student achievement. This includes planning and implementing job-embedded professional
- development and workshops for individuals, small groups, and large groups.
- Collaborates in the evaluation, selection and implementation of instructional technology materials and software.
- Assists with technology training as part of collaborative school district staff development initiatives and supports regional and statewide initiatives.
- Works with curriculum staff to develop and implement technology-enhanced curriculum integration projects.
- Provides leadership in developing and implementing technology plans
- Collaborates with School Administrators and staff to ensure infrastructure and tools are available to carry out school and technology initiatives.
- Researches advancements in technology tools and resources to inform decision-making
- Provide technical assistance to staff and students
- Provide support for computerized testing and instructional classroom technology
- Answer questions and troubleshoot computer, phone, and network problems
- Assist in the use of computer hardware and software, including printing, installation, word processing, spreadsheets, email, operating systems, network and wireless connections
- Provide support with user account management and permissions for employees and students Inventory, asset management, documentation, and utilization tracking.
- Maintain computer, network, phones, and audio-visual technology in classrooms, libraries, gym, and offices.
