Catholic Early Childhood Classroom Teacher
Looking for a part-time, M/W/F morning 8-12, teacher for our three year old students. Our three and fours are currently together in one class, but growth is allowing us to look for an additional teacher.
Position Purpose
Knowledge, Skills And Abilities
- Knowledge of current teaching methods and educational pedagogy, as well as differentiates instruction based upon student learning styles.
- Knowledge of Catholic Doctrine and witness of Gospel values
- Knowledge of early childhood school curriculum and concepts.
- Knowledge of data information systems, data analysis and the formulation of action plans.
- Ability to use computer network system and software applications as needed.
- Ability to organize and coordinate work.
- Ability to communicate effectively with students and parents.
- Ability to handle confidential and/or official information with discretion.
- Ability to engage in self-evaluation with regard to performance and professional growth.
- Ability to establish and maintain cooperative working relationships with others contacted in the course of work.
- Professionalism in attire, communication, and demeanor
Qualifications Profile
- Illinois State License in the Early Childhood preferred.
- Bachelors from an accredited college or university in Early Childhood, Elementary Education or related discipline applicable to teaching assignment.
