Role Responsibilities
1.The WIC Mobile Associate reports to the WIC Mobile Site Director and indirectly to the WIC Mobile Assistant Site Director of Women, Infants, and Children.
2.The Mobile WIC Grocery Associate is responsible for warm and hospitable client engagement, maintaining mobile product display appearance, directing clients to WIC product categories, providing WIC Electronic Benefit Transaction(EBT) balance inquiries, and operating registers to complete WIC Electronic Benefit Transactions (EBT).
3.Grocery Associate engages with clients to promote WIC nutrition services, participate in WIC community outreach events, wrap-around services offered at WIC Grocery Centers, and agency resources.
4.The WIC Mobile Grocery Associate accurately scans and bags WIC products redeemed in the Mobile WIC Grocery Center. The associate also accurately assists with inventory counts, follows departmental procedures, and ensures the proper display and rotation of all merchandise. The associate also assists in checking the quality of merchandise and notifying directors of damaged and soon-to-expire products.
5.WIC Mobile Grocery Associate is responsible for stocking and maintaining a clean work environment that follows food safety and programmatic requirements.
6.WIC Mobile Grocery Associates are responsible for maintaining knowledge of the program and agency updates by attending meetings and reviewing email correspondence.
7.WIC Mobile Grocery Associate will comply with agency policies and procedures, professional standards, and external requirements of all regulatory, licensing, or accreditation bodies while performing job expectations.
8.Conducts work responsibilities promptly and ensures high quality in all instances. Makes recommendations to improve current services and methods of delivery and implements any program/departmental improvements as needed or required.
9.This position includes maintaining a flexible schedule to work evenings, weekends, and holidays.

Education and Experience Requirements:
Preferred Education: Associate's Degree
Minimum Education: High School / GED
Preferred Experience: Management and Retail Experience; Advanced Microsoft Office Skills Word, Excel, and Outlook

Preferred Relevant Experience: 2-4 Years

Physical Requirements
Kneel and move from sitting, bending, kneeling, or standing multiple times a day.
Push and pull objects up to 50 pounds.
